Before creating BellaArtista, our Founder Angela Sorpreso worked in the corporate finance sector for over two decades, leading teams of 19, she has a unique insight into the requirements of corporate team building, as well as its benefits. A successful team building workshop unifies a team, and is reinvigorating, helping colleagues reconnect with each other. Deadlines, competing priorities and just day to day working life can have an impact on peoples’ stress levels and work performance. Art, however, and the act of creating art, is relaxing and rewarding, an effective way to relieve stress, leaving people feeling mentally clear and calm. It provides a distraction, giving the brain a reprieve. Creativity is a way to tap into emotions in an unobtrusive and non-intimidating way, and when created in a communal setting, allows people to see each other with a new perspective. It’s calming, holistic, and requires focus and mindfulness but very little physicality- yes, no commando courses or carrying each other over obstacles!
